For 14 years, Ardley Hanemann, Jr., served as Vice President of Corporate Relations for the third largest ocean transportation company in the world. In this position he held primary responsibility for all media relations, employee communications, advertising, training, and sales promotion, as well as the design, direction, and implementation of communications for organizational reengineering efforts. His post as chief spokesman for the company necessitated a daily dialogue with media around the world. Crisis management entailed an intimate knowledge of the maritime industry and ongoing relationships with vendors and financial institutions. He has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, the Mediterranean, South Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East meeting with representatives of maritime lending institutions, labor unions, port authorities, and critical media personnel.

Mr. Hanemann has more than 40 years experience in public relations, financial and employee communications, print and electronic production, and event coordination.

Mr. Hanemann was awarded a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations degree from Loyola University where he was named Outstanding Journalism Graduate. His continuing education includes programs at the University of Michigan, the University of Virginia, Southern Methodist University, and Kent State University. He is a certified instructor in the Management of Change and has conducted seminars throughout the country. He is the recipient of numerous professional and civic awards.

In 1994, he became a founding partner of Vooss Hanemann Associates, an advertising, public relations, and communications firm developing all forms of internal and external communications programs, advertising, media relations, and community relations projects. The firm has long-standing relationships with major worldwide publications.

Since 2004, Mr. Hanemann has served as President and CEO of Cabrini High School in New Orleans.
