| During
Mr. Jahncke's 40-year international transportation career, he has been
responsible for all phases of the sales process including management of
the worldwide sales division of a major international ocean transportation
company and development and implementation of a Corporate Accounts program.
His personal commitment to quality service and strong interpersonal skills
have earned him the respect of exporters and importers, freight forwarders,
custom house brokers, and trade organizations worldwide.
Mr. Jahncke is a founding partner of The McCormick Jahncke Group. The McCormick Jahncke Group is made up of international transportation executives with expertise in the disciplines of finance, operations, technology, business development, and communications. Their practical experience and international network are focused to provide practical business solutions for their clients. The McCormick Jahncke Group's clients include railroads, unions, shipbuilders, vessel owners and operators, multinational importers and exporters, ports, terminals, and stevedoring operators. As Vice President - Corporate Sales, he developed and implemented customer strategies in a period in which commercial revenue increased from $230 million in 1990 to $525 million in 1994. Mr. Jahncke has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Mediterranean, South Africa, South America, the Far East, Canada, and Mexico, successfully implementing long-term strategic partnership programs with the world's largest multinational corporations. Such partnerships required detailed negotiations regarding total logistics capability, contract pricing, and customer service on both sides of the ocean. He has worked extensively with U.S. and foreign governmental agencies, as well as with major international project managers and consolidators. Mr. Jahncke is well respected among the domestic rail and motor freight community, worldwide port authorities, and international trade associations. He has worked closely with the Chemical Manufacturers Association, the Wines and Spirits Importers, Green Coffee Association, and the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc. Mr. Jahncke holds a BBA from Tulane University in New Orleans. He is a member of the World Trade Club of New Orleans, the Traffic and Transportation Club of New Orleans, National Industrial Transportation League, and New Orleans Board of Trade and has been a member of the National Freight Transportation Association. Mr. Jahncke earned a Gold Medal in yachting in the XIX Olympiad in Mexico City and is a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame of Tulane University. |
